The Village of Clyde is beginning the preliminary
design phase for the improvements to the Glasgow Street (NYS RTE 414)
Streetscape enhancement and improvements project between Columbia street and
Caroline Street. Color displays and proposed concepts will be displayed in
the entranceway of the Village Offices in the Municipal building for your review.

From the Galen Wildlife Preserve to the Montezuma
National Wildlife Refuge, the area surrounding Clyde is a nature lovers
delight. Canoe, hike, and bike your way through one of the largest marsh
ecosystems in New York State. Montezuma, with its system of pools, wetlands,
and woodlands, provides a major resting area for many waterfowl and other
birds, including the Bald Eagle. Educational and recreational events abound
throughout the year, offering activities for the entire family.

can be considered the center of a shopper's paradise. From the array of
antique and specialty stores within the village, quaint shops in neighboring
towns such as Seneca Falls, Auburn, Geneva, Waterloo and Skaneateles,

Lakes Outlets, one of the largest outlet centers in the state only
minutes away. Whether you're looking for memorable knicknacks to a full

Wineries The Finger Lakes Region is noted for its
flare for making excellent wines. The unique combination of deep water
and sloping hillsides provides a natural temperature moderator, protecting
the vines against extreme temperature changes. The climate hence created
makes the region premiere for grape growing. With over 96 wineries to
tour and taste, the Finger Lakes is the largest wine region in the United
States outside of California.
