Lauraville Landing Park Trail

Lauraville Park Pavilion is now available for use.

Docking, water, power, grills, tables, facilities. A short walk over the canal bridge for all your boating and camping needs. "Overnight Camping" requires a permit.

From hunting and fishing to golf and snowmobiling, Clyde offers something to do in every season. Wayne Hills Country Club is located 3 miles from downtown Clyde. This course was rated 4-stars by Golf Digest in 1990, and remains a hidden treasure for the golf enthusiast.

As tourism interest increases in the area, so do the already numerous activities. With unparalleled south shore access on the canal, docking your boat for a visit is not a problem. And as the "gateway community to the many scenic natural areas around, the list of resources around Clyde is continuously growing.

From the
Audubon Society Preserve to the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, the area surrounding Clyde is a nature lovers delight. Canoe, hike, and bike your way through one of the largest marsh ecosystems in New York State. Montezuma, with its system of pools, wetlands, and woodlands, provides a major resting area for many waterfowl and other birds, including the Bald Eagle. Educational and recreational events abound throughout the year, offering activities for the entire family.

Clyde can be considered the center of a shopper's paradise. From the array of antique and specialty stores within the village, quaint shops in neighboring towns such as Seneca Falls, Auburn, Geneva, Waterloo and Skaneateles, to large malls surrounding Syracuse and Rochester, Clyde has it all. Not to mention the Finger Lakes Outlets, one of the largest outlet centers in the state only minutes away. Whether you're looking for memorable knickknacks to a full line of designer clothing, it's right around the corner from Clyde.

The Finger Lakes Region is noted for its flare for making excellent wines. The unique combination of deep water and sloping hillsides provides a natural temperature moderator, protecting the vines against extreme temperature changes. The climate hence created makes the region premiere for grape growing. With over 96 wineries to tour and taste, the Finger Lakes is the largest wine region in the United States outside of California.
